Field Solutions Engineer to support the deployment, integration, optimization, and ongoing performance of its advanced radar-based security solutions.

They continue to transform perimeter security through its advanced ground-based radar solutions, drone detection technology, and proprietary AI platform.
Position Overview This individual will serve as a key technical resource for customers, security integrators, and internal sales teams, ensuring successful implementation and operation of technology.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in electronic security systems, IP networking, video surveillance, and systems integration, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges in real-world environments.
This position requires a hands-on engineer who is equally comfortable configuring systems in the field, collaborating with technical partners, and presenting sophisticated technology to customers.
Key Responsibilities Field Engineering & System Deployment - Provide on-site and remote technical support for installation, configuration, commissioning, and optimization of radar-based security solutions.
- Assist customers and integration partners with deploying ground-based radar systems, drone detection solutions, and AI software.
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal radar placement, detection coverage, camera positioning, and overall system architecture.
- Configure radar sensors, detection zones, alarm parameters, and automated camera tracking functionality.
- Perform system testing, validation, and performance optimization to ensure reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and integration issues during deployment and throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support system upgrades, firmware updates, and technical improvements.
Systems Integration & Technical Support - Integrate company solutions with third-party Video Management Systems (VMS), IP cameras, access control platforms, and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot IP-based security networks, ONVIF devices, PTZ cameras, and related infrastructure.
- Support integration with security platforms such as Genetec, Milestone, Hanwha, and other leading industry solutions.
- Work with APIs, SDKs, and network communication protocols to facilitate interoperability between security systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving radar detection, AI-based classification, camera tracking, and alarm management.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, product development, and technical support teams to resolve complex customer issues.
- Document technical findings, troubleshooting procedures, and recommended corrective actions.
Customer & Partner Technical Engagement - Serve as a trusted technical advisor to end users, security integrators, consultants, and technology partners.
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
- Provide hands-on technical training for installation teams, integration partners, and customer personnel.
- Assist customers in understanding radar detection capabilities, system limitations, and recommended deployment practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Support customer acceptance testing and system handover activities.
Pre-Sales & Sales Engineering Support - Partner with regional sales managers and business development teams to support technical aspects of the sales process.
- Assist with system design, product selection, technical specifications, and solution architecture.
- Participate in customer discovery meetings to evaluate operational requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other customer documentation requests.
- Conduct technical demonstrations highlighting companys' radar technology, AI analytics, and integrated perimeter protection capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance to customers and integrators throughout the evaluation and purchasing process.
Product Feedback & Continuous Improvement - Communicate customer feedback, field observations, and technical requirements to product management and engineering teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve installation processes, product functionality, and system performance.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, field reports, and configuration records.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and industry developments in electronic security, radar detection, video analytics, and physical security integration.
Required Qualifications - 3–5+ years of experience in field engineering, systems engineering, technical support, or solutions engineering within electronic security, surveillance, or related technology industries.
- Strong working knowledge of IP video surveillance systems, CCTV, network cameras, and Video Management Systems.
- Experience installing, configuring, commissioning, or troubleshooting integrated electronic security systems.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, Ethernet, PoE, network switches, routing, and related communications protocols.
- Experience integrating multiple hardware and software platforms within complex security environments.
- Familiarity with PTZ camera configuration, ONVIF protocols, and video analytics technologies.
