About the Role
We are currently seeking a talented and creative
Creative Interior Designer to join an established interior design and fit-out contractor in Manchester specialising in commercial office and workplace projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for a design-driven professional with a strong eye for detail, a passion for contemporary interiors and the ability to transform client briefs into inspiring, functional and visually impressive spaces. Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial workplace and residential projects, you will play a key role in developing innovative design concepts, producing high-quality presentations and bringing ideas to life from initial brief through to design development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative interior design concepts for commercial office and residential projects.
- Produce mood boards, concept presentations, material palettes and design proposals.
- Create high-quality 2D layouts, space-planning concepts and 3D visualisations.
- Select appropriate finishes, furniture, lighting and materials to complement each design concept.
- Prepare compelling visual presentations for client meetings and design approvals.
- Translate client requirements into innovative, practical and commercially viable design solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical designers, consultants and delivery teams.
- Ensure design concepts align with project budgets, specifications and programme requirements.
- Keep up to date with emerging interior design trends, materials and technologies.
- Support the design process from initial concept through to detailed design and project delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in creative interior design, ideally within an interior fit-out or design-and-build contractor.
- A strong portfolio showcasing commercial office and residential interior projects.
- Excellent conceptual design, visualisation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
- A strong understanding of space planning, finishes, furniture, lighting and material selection.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A creative, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Previous experience in Dubai or the wider UAE market would be advantageous.
