Welfare Recruitment Solutions are delighted to announce that we have been approached by a leading Out of Home Care Provider to recruit a Caseworker for their new Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) Programme. In this role, you will be working with young people in residential out of home care on a full-time permanent basis in the Western Sydney area. This is a Monday – Friday position, working normal business hours, however flexibility to work on occasion outside of these hours is highly regarded due to the nature of the work.  
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for providing high quality casework services to young people in the ITC program. Working closely with Therapeutic Specialists, House Managers and other staff you will assist young people to heal from their trauma and reach their potential whilst planning for permanency. The young people in this program often have high and complex needs, including complex mental health, disability, emotional and behavioural issues.
Candidate In order be considered for this position you will have the following:
  • Bachelors' degree in social work, psychology or relevant community welfare fields 
  • Previous case management experience in a child protection related service
  • Demonstrated experience working with young people with complex needs
  • Driver’s license
Further Info 
In return you will be offered a base salary in the region of $79-83k + super + the benefits of salary packaging associated for working with an NFP organisation. The exact salary is to be negotiated on dependent upon experience and qualifications.
