Change Manager - Internal App Rollout (Contract)
6-month contract | Major National Retailer

We're partnering with one of Australia's most iconic retailers as they embark on a major in-store digital uplift. With a new consolidated internal app rolling out to all stores nationally, we're seeking an experienced Change Manager who can drive engagement, communication, and adoption across a complex, fast-paced retail environment.
This is the first phase of a multi-year program, with a second business case already planned for April 2026. You'll play a critical role in shaping how store teams interact with a newly unified platform replacing several legacy apps.

About the Role
In this delivery-focused role, you will:
  • Develop and execute a targeted change and communications plan for a national store rollout
  • Consolidate multiple existing app experiences into one streamlined tool for team members
  • Partner closely with Store Operations, Regional Managers, and in-store leadership to ensure communication lands effectively
  • Work with comms teams to review, refine, and distribute a high volume of messaging, including a quarterly bulletin
  • Gather insights and capture feedback from stores, regions, and operational leaders
  • Work collaboratively with product owners, SMEs, and the broader change & comms team
  • Support readiness activities and help uplift change capability in a low-maturity environment
You Will Bring
  • Proven experience as a Change Manager in large, complex retail or store-based environments
  • Background in technology, digital, or app-based transformations
  • Pragmatic, hands-on approach suited to low-maturity or evolving delivery environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills — comfortable working with store teams and regional leadership
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to translate technical change into clear, simple messaging
