SeaMarque is partnering with a leading multinational shipping and offshore services group that is expanding its operations in Dubai. Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join its growing technical team and support an expanding offshore fleet.
 
This role is ideally suited to a technically strong professional with extensive seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer on Offshore Vessels, combined with proven shore-based PMS experience.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet maintenance operations, ensuring effective governance, technical support, and continuous improvement of vessel maintenance management systems.
• Ensure all assigned repairs are managed safely and effectively to minimize the impact on operations.
• Controls the repair activities, including the management of 3rd party contractors.
• Create a vision, strategy and planning for planned maintenance data management that furthers enterprise objectives.
• Develop and implement reliability strategies to optimise vessel lifecycle management, maximise fleet availability, and reduce OPEX and CAPEX.
• Manage corporate Maintenance standards as necessary to drive superior levels of vessel performance across all business units.
• Ensure audits of vessels, offices and facilities within the Division are carried out to ensure compliance with external and internal standards.
• Establish appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure Asset performance across the Division Business Units

Candidate Profile
 

•  Chief Engineer's license (Motor) sea going vessels; or Master's degree in engineering or Master of Science in Engineering.
• Experience on AHTS / Offshore Supply / Offshore Tug / Dive Support Vessels / PSV or Construction Vessels. 
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in shore-based ship management and no less than 5 years in a similar role.
