The Candidate Specification
 
We are recruiting for a Temporary Chief Officer to join a 65M+ private motor yacht for an 11-12 week contract, covering while the current Second Officer completes his Chief Mate qualification.
 
The successful candidate must hold Chief Mate 3000 and have strong bridge and watchkeeping experience. We are looking for a capable and reliable Officer who can confidently step into the position and take responsibility from the outset.
 
We would also consider an experienced Second Officer from a larger yacht who has already undertaken senior watchkeeping and bridge duties and holds the required Chief Mate 3000 qualification. This is a bridge-focused position and previous on-deck experience is not required.
 
The yacht is currently based in Hong Kong and will remain in the region until approximately March, with the programme thereafter still to be confirmed. The temporary contract offers 42 days' annual leave, prorated and paid as holiday.
 

• Required experience: Strong Officer experience; experienced Second Officers from larger yachts with senior bridge/watchkeeping experience considered
• Qualification: Chief Mate 3000, STCW, ENG1
• Required Visa: TBC
