Police Constable - Degree Holder Entry Programme

Cheshire Constabulary are now launching our new Degree Holder Entry Programme.
Cheshire Constabulary are looking for individuals who have passion, drive, enthusiasm and commitment to making Cheshire a safer place. This exciting role will enable degree holders to become an operational Police Officer whilst studying a Diploma in Professional Policing at the University of Chester. Following your 2 year probationary period you will have the opportunity to progress through the ranks and continue to develop the wide range of skills that a professional career in policing will provide.
In this role, you will be at the very heart of protecting the local communities of Cheshire, driven by motivation to keep people safe and you will pride yourself on acting with integrity and honesty and have the highest respect for diversity amongst your colleagues and the communities you serve.
The role of a Police Constable is exciting and varied one day you could be patrolling neighbourhoods, and the next participating in seminars at the University of Chester campus (Warrington)
Please be advised that to be eligible for this route, you must have a United Kingdom- UK (Hons) degree (or equivalent) in any subject, minimum 2:2 classification.
Please note if you have any tattoos, photographs MUST be uploaded in the attachment section of the application. You are able to apply if you are 17 years of age but, you will need to be 18 years of age by the intake date.
