Tender & Proposals Executive. This role offers excellent exposure to tender management, procurement processes, commercial reviews and stakeholder engagement, making it an ideal next step for someone looking to build a long-term career within procurement, supply chain, bids or commercial operations.
The Role Working as part of a collaborative proposals team, you will support the preparation and submission of high-quality tender responses and commercial proposals. You'll coordinate supplier questionnaires, manage procurement portals, gather information from stakeholders across the business and help ensure submissions are commercially robust, compliant and delivered on time.
This is a varied role where you'll regularly work with colleagues from finance, HR, purchasing, delivery and commercial teams, giving you broad exposure to how successful bids and contracts are developed and managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating tender and proposal submissions from initial enquiry through to final submission.
- Managing supplier questionnaires, RFIs and customer qualification exercises.
- Maintaining procurement and supplier registration portals.
- Supporting the review of commercial and contractual terms.
- Gathering information from internal stakeholders to produce compelling bid responses.
- Ensuring all submissions meet quality, compliance and customer requirements.
- Supporting continuous improvement across proposal and tender processes.
About You We're interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in procurement, supply chain, bids, contracts, commercial support or a similar business support function.
You'll likely have:
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
Previous experience supporting tenders, proposals, procurement activities or customer-facing commercial processes would be advantageous but is not essential.
