Global Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning Manager

As the Global SIOP Manager, you will act as the central link between Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and senior leadership teams. You will provide clear visibility of risks and opportunities while ensuring the business operates from a single version of the truth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing, implementing, and governing a standardised global SIOP process.
  • Leading executive SIOP reviews, presenting recommendations, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Establishing integrated demand, supply, inventory, and revenue plans.
  • Driving accountability and planning discipline across multiple regions.
Demand & Supply Planning
  • Consolidating and challenging global sales forecasts.
  • Improving forecast accuracy through analytical insight and market intelligence.
  • Translating demand forecasts into executable supply plans.
  • Leading capacity planning and scenario modelling activities.
  
Inventory & Supply Chain Optimisation
  • Developing inventory strategies aligned with service and working capital objectives.
  • Reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Overseeing planning for critical and long-lead materials.
  • Identifying supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Logistics & Distribution
  • Optimising global logistics and distribution networks.
  • Managing relationships with freight, logistics, and 3PL partners.
  • Improving transportation efficiency and reduce landed costs.
  • Ensuring planning decisions consider customs, duties, tariffs, and regulatory requirements.
Performance Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting frameworks.
  • Supporting data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across planning and supply chain processes.
  • Ensuring high standards of ERP master data integrity and governance
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Significant experience in SIOP, S&OP, Integrated Business Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or Operations Planning.
  • Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory optimisation, capacity management, logistics, and supply planning.
  • Experience facilitating executive-level planning and decision-making forums.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and business modelling capabilities.
  • Advanced ERP/MRP systems knowledge.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and VBA.
Desirable
  • APICS/CPIM, CIPS, or similar professional qualification.
  • Experience managing multi-site global operations.
  • Experience implementing SIOP, S&OP, or IBP processes.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and dashboard development.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certification.
