Director of Procurement

We are seeking an experienced Director of Procurement to lead and develop a strategic procurement function within a complex operational environment. Reporting to the CFO, this role will drive sourcing strategy, supplier performance, cost optimisation, and procurement best practice across the organisation.

Location - East London (4 days per week on site)

Salary: Up to £93,000 + Bonus + Benefits 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the procurement strategy in line with business objectives. 
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management. 
• Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities while managing procurement risk. 
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across operations, projects, and finance. 
• Drive responsible sourcing, governance, and continuous improvement across the supply base.
• Provide leadership and development to the procurement team. 

About You

• Proven experience in a senior procurement leadership role.
• Strong track record in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
• Experience managing multiple spend categories within a complex organisation. 
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, and stakeholder management skills. 
• CIPS or equivalent professional qualification desirable.
