This is not a conventional procurement role.
You’ll join a growing Group Procurement function operating across a network of ~50 autonomous, high-performing businesses. Instead of mandate and control, success here comes from influence, collaboration, and commercial acumen.

The Role As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will operate across three key areas:
Group-Level Procurement (Technology Focus) - Manage key global supplier relationships (e.g. SaaS, software, cybersecurity)
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract strategy
- Support implementation and optimisation of a new contract lifecycle management (CLM) system
Business Partnering Across Operating Companies - Engage with a diverse portfolio of SMEs (UK, US, Europe)
- Identify opportunities to drive value through collaboration and insight
- Build trusted relationships across technical and commercial stakeholder
Internal Consultancy & Commercial Advisory - Act as a strategic advisor to OpCos, including supporting their customer negotiations
- Provide insight into procurement strategies and buyer behaviours
- Drive best practice without direct authority

Core Procurement Experience required: - Technology / SaaS / IT
- Indirect / services / FM
- Manufacturing / direct procurement
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and manage commercial contracts
- Experience working in multi-businesses, decentralised, or matrix environments

- Strong contract review and commercial negotiation capability

- Ability to operate with limited legal support (contract ownership)

Package & Benefits - Salary: £65,000 – £85,000 (flexible depending on experience)
- Bonus: up to 15% (strong historical performance)
