We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Global Demand & Supply Planning Manager to lead and transform our global planning function within a complex international manufacturing and distribution environment.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and implementing world-class demand and supply planning processes across multiple business units and international markets. You will play a critical role in balancing customer service, inventory optimisation, production efficiency, and working capital performance while ensuring alignment between operational and financial plans.
Reporting to the Global Head of Procurement & Supply Chain, you will lead a team responsible for planning, stock deployment, and intercompany supply coordination, driving continuous improvement and building a high-performing planning organisation.

As Global Demand & Supply Planning Manager your key responsibilities will be: - Leading the development and implementation of a global Demand & Supply Planning (D&SP) strategy across multiple international business units.
- Establishing and embed standardised planning processes, systems, and ways of working across the organisation.
- Owning global inventory strategy, including stock availability, deployment, safety stock policies, and inventory positioning.
- Driving continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, supply planning effectiveness, and overall supply chain performance.
- Leading executive Demand & Supply Planning reviews, presenting recommendations and trade-off scenarios to senior stakeholders.
- Partnering with manufacturing sites to ensure alignment between demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory requirements.
- Ensuring operational plans align with financial objectives through credible and data-driven planning assumptions.
Skills and experience required: - Extensive supply chain leadership experience within a global manufacturing and distribution environment.
- Proven track record of leading and improving Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Demand & Supply Planning processes in complex organisations.
- Strong leadership capability with experience building, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Advanced expertise in demand planning, inventory management, supply planning and working capital optimisation.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at Director and Executive level.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to driving performance improvements.
- Experience using ERP and planning systems, ideally JD Edwards or similar enterprise-wide supply chain platforms.
- Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or a related discipline, with willingness to travel internationally as required.
