Procurement Manger 

Location - East London (4 days per week on site)

Procurement Heads are working with a leisure client who are looking for a commercially astute Procurement Manager to play a key role in driving value, reducing supply chain risk, and shaping procurement strategy within a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.

You’ll operate as a trusted business partner across the organisation, working closely with stakeholders to unlock efficiencies, deliver cost savings, and support strategic growth. This role offers high visibility, real ownership, and the chance to influence how procurement delivers impact across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Procurement Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end procurement activity and act as a central point of expertise for sourcing and supplier strategy. Your role will include:

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
  • Design and deliver sourcing strategies across a range of categories
  • Lead tender processes end-to-end: supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation and contract award
  • Negotiate commercial agreements that maximise value and reduce risk
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering
  • Partner with budget holders and contract managers to understand requirements and shape procurement plans
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making and drive results
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Safety and Project teams
Supplier & Contract Management
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive performance and innovation
  • Support contract managers with supplier performance and relationship management
  • Ensure robust contract governance, lifecycle management and accurate documentation
Data, Insights & Performance
  • Analyse supplier spend and procurement data (e.g. using Power BI) to generate actionable insights
  • Present data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Monitor procurement performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities
Risk, Compliance & Sustainability
  • Ensure procurement activities meet compliance, governance and risk management requirements
  • Support sustainability initiatives through responsible sourcing practices
  • Maintain audit-ready processes and documentation
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to enhance procurement processes, systems and ways of working
  • Promote a culture of efficiency, collaboration and high performance
  • Deliver excellent internal customer service across all interactions

Salary - up to £65,000 + benefits
