The Procurement Heads Consumer team is excited to be working with an exceptional wellness brand. This organisation is revolutionising their industry with an expected turnover of 50M this financial year. They are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in Procurement & Supply Chains across high-volume retailers and complex brands.

This is a newly created role as part of this organisation’s ongoing evolution and continual improvement. Our client is looking for a hands-on Head of Supply Chain & Procurement to take full ownership of their procurement, logistics, and operations.

This role is perfect for someone who’s not just a strategist but also loves rolling up their sleeves and making things happen.

You'll be expected to own the Supply Chain Strategy and get stuck-in with end-to-end Procurement Process 

  • Take full responsibility for supplier relationships—negotiating contracts, sourcing improved options, and ensuring quality remains consistently high.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach to procurement, working directly with manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners to secure the most competitive pricing and favourable terms.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers to drive innovation, enhance lead times, and reduce costs wherever feasible.
  • Ensure we continuously meet our sustainability and ethical sourcing commitments.
  • Oversee and lead the entire supply chain—from procurement through to delivery—guaranteeing efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness at every stage.
  • Develop scalable, practical processes that support rapid expansion while maintaining seamless operations.
  • Be actively involved in day-to-day operations, addressing issues in real time and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
You'll take a leadership role in the organisation, helping them to scale for growth

  • Build and refine procurement and operational processes to support our fast-growing business.
  • Ensure we’re always stocked at the right levels- avoiding overstocking while never running out of key products.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve supplier relationships, and increase cost efficiencies.
  • Lead, support, and directly manage the supply chain team—helping them develop and solve real-time challenges.
  • Work side by side with the team, mentoring, coaching, and driving accountability to ensure we’re always improving.
  • Foster a culture of proactive problem-solving and constant optimisation.
  • Use data and insights to refine forecasting, improve efficiencies, and prevent stock issues.
  • Continuously assess and adjust supply chain processes, identifying cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and implement the best innovations to keep us ahead of the game.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product and Operations teams to ensure supply chain alignment with overall business goals.
  • Provide real-time insights and solutions, keeping teams updated on supply chain performance and potential risks.
  • Be the key problem-solver spotting bottlenecks before they happen and working with the wider team to fix them.


This role will require you to be:

  • A doer - this is not a sit-back-and-observe role; we need someone who thrives in hands-on problem-solving and execution.
  • Strong experience in supply chain, procurement, and logistics, ideally in a fast-growing, scale-up environment.
  • A strong negotiator who can negotiate with suppliers while maintaining top quality.
  • A proactive problem-solver who doesn’t wait for issues to arise but anticipates them and acts fast.
  • A leader who is comfortable being in the trenches with the team, leading by example.
  • Experience in inventory planning, logistics, supplier management, and cost optimisation.
