Senior Procurement Manager

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, confident, agile professional with a strong Financial Services background and a thorough understanding of FCA Regulations to guide and influence an established ExCo as they take the next step on this exciting journey.  

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, embed, and enhance the third-party supplier framework
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and processes
  • Manage third-party suppliers for performance, quality, cost, and contract obligations
  • Develop strong relationships with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members and key stakeholders
  • Monitor supplier performance through regular reviews, KPIs, and SLAs
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure business continuity
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and supplier onboarding
  • Provide strategic advice on procurement matters to support executive decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function
Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role within financial services.
  • Strong background in supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement compliance
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Experience in driving value through a total cost of ownership approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits
  • Salary: £90,000 to £95,000 + 10% Bonus
  • Hybrid working: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
