Vercity have identified the need for an experienced SPV / PFI professional to join the team to support our MD (Operations) in the continuous improvement of our services whilst also supporting projects on ad hoc, short term bases supporting the existing project team.

We manage 100+ projects across the UK and North America - and are involved in the management of over £30 billion of UK public sector assets and infrastructure as varied as the Menai Bridge, Bart's Hospital and key, Central Government departments.
Reporting to our MD (Operations) you will work in a team of over 30 GMs across more than 50 projects across the UK. The role will be split across providing to support on projects where the GM is unavailable (holidays, recruitment, sickness, etc); working with the MD (Ops) on operational delivery of MSA's; and continuous improvement of project service delivery through improvements in process, technology and innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities - Providing interim operational leadership of SPVs across the UK and across multiple sectors
- Senior stakeholder management across end users, funders. partners and FM contractors
- Financial, contract and risk management
- Governance, compliance and performance oversight
- Driving service quality and continuous improvement
- Continuing to ensure we are offering a consistently high quality of service, and pushing that threshold, across our portfolio
- Identification and execution of new business opportunities
About you - Proven experience in an SPV, PFI / PPP or complex outsourced contract environments, ideally with a national remit
- Strong understanding of the position and influence of the MSA as The Trusted Advisor
- Commercially and financially astute
- Confident operating at Board and executive level
- UK‑based with the flexibility to work UK-wide on a contract by contract basis where on site support is required - with travel and subsistence covered, of course
