Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Panel Operator to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the LNG plant, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable functioning. You will directly control the LNG train, storage, loading, and utilities facilities, monitor plant conditions and optimize operating parameters to achieve production targets while maintaining the highest HSE and operational standards.
Tasks and Responsibilities

• Apply and promote the company's HSE policy and local regulations, ensuring safe work practices across CCR and field activities.
• Serve as the custodian of the Production HSE dossier for tasks related to the Central Control Room (CCR), ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Actively participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities for the facility, contributing to seamless plant integration and operational readiness.
• Engage in intensive training and familiarization with the plant's control systems to achieve a high level of operational proficiency. Support the on-the-job training (OJT) of the Junior Panel operators.
• Directly oversee the operational conditions and parameters of the LNG train, storage, loading, and utilities facilities, maintaining optimal performance.
• Continuously monitor all operating conditions within the LNG plant's process area facilities, making necessary operational adjustments to optimize plant performance.
• Collaborate with field operators to coordinate control and adjustments of operating parameters, aiming to enhance overall plant efficiency.
• Manage the issuance and monitoring of work permits, ensuring no conflicting activities occur simultaneously and verifying the proper closure of permits post-job completion.
• Act as the first responder to alarms, identifying and reacting promptly to operational deviations or upsets, playing a key role in maintaining safe and efficient plant conditions.
• Identify and address deviations in process parameters at the earliest stage to mitigate operational risks and implement timely corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in coordination with shift teams to ensure optimized production and seamless operations.
• Monitor process controllers set points to align with recommended values, making necessary adjustments and documenting deviations.
• Assume secondary responsibility for plant operations during shifts outside regular working hours, including handling emergencies, maintaining shift discipline, and ensuring operational continuity.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the LNG train, storage, loading and utilities, meeting delivery commitments for LNG quantity and quality.
• Prepare detailed shift logs and reports, documenting anomalies, plant trips, incidents, and operational inefficiencies for review and continuous improvement.
• Maximize the use of digital tools to monitor production performance, streamline processes, and minimize non-value-adding activities.
• Within the framework of an integrated project team job holder will have to:
• Ensure timely preparation of the operating procedures.
• Maximize ICV during the Project phase ensuring that the junior panel operators are adequately trained for operations.
• Prepare reports on the status of his activities, highlighting any areas of concern.
• Ensure Company rules and specifications are implemented throughout the project for all production and maintenance topics.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience in DCS and resolving operational problems, including 3-5 years in gas processing, LNG, storage loading.
• Experience in similar position: 7+ years of experience in LNG or hydrocarbon processing plant operations, with a focus on control room (CCR) operations and panel operator responsibilities.
