Service Administrator to support one of its expanding commercial divisions. The company prides itself on delivering a professional, customer-focused service and is seeking an organised and proactive individual to join the team during a period of continued growth and investment..
Your Roles & Responsibilities: While in this position your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer service enquiries and support requests
- Preparing quotations for maintenance, repairs, spare parts and service-related activities
- Processing customer orders accurately and within agreed timescales
- Purchasing materials, components and stock items from multiple suppliers
- Coordinating deliveries and ensuring components arrive in line with customer project requirements
- Managing supplier relationships and monitoring order progress
- Updating and maintaining customer portals with company and employee information ahead of site visits
- Supporting engineering teams with scheduling and administrative requirements
- Assisting with customer triage and the coordination of technical support requests
- Maintaining accurate records, documentation and service information across internal systems
- Supporting stock control activities and monitoring inventory levels
- Assisting with shipping and logistics administration where required
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues to resolve issues and ensure excellent service delivery
- Supporting wider administrative functions across the service department as required
What You Will Need to Apply: The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Previous experience within administration, customer service, service coordination or commercial support would be highly advantageous.
Candidates should be confident communicating professionally with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders while effectively managing multiple priorities within a busy environment. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, are essential, and experience using CRM systems or business software would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to respond quickly to changing customer requirements, maintain accurate documentation and work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Experience within stock control, shipping or technical service environments would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
What You Will Get in Return: A starting salary
