Financial Controller

NET Recruit is partnering with a successful services business to find a highly accomplished Financial Controller in Winchester.

Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Developing the monthly and quarterly reporting process to satisfy the commercial requirements of management
  • Ensuring the regulatory and statutory commitments are met and instilling a culture of accuracy across the accounting team
  • Acting as an agent for continuous improvement surrounding the financial control environment and operational efficiency
  • Establishing a strong and credible relationship with all external parties, including banks and advisors
  • Working closely with senior business partners and the IT team to develop the financial systems and increase automation
  • Ensure the payroll and HR administration process runs smoothly

What You Will Need to Apply:   
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with strong post-qualification experience. You should have excellent technical accounting skills and, ideally, some exposure to corporate finance, due diligence, and financial analysis. You will bring strong communication and leadership abilities, along with an ambitious mindset that supports ongoing high-growth plans. Solid IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems, are essential. Knowledge of payroll processes and other transactional finance responsibilities is also required.

As this is an interim role for a fixed period of three months, applicants should be immediately available or on a short notice period and comfortable taking on a contract position.
