This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compressor Service Engineer to join a knowledgeable and growing team, where every day brings varied technical challenges and the opportunity to make a real impact.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position, your duties may include, but are not limited to: - Carrying out field service visits to diagnose faults and ensure optimal performance of compressed air systems.
- Completing repairs, maintenance, and installations both independently and as part of a team.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting guidance to customers.
- Conducting routine servicing in line with manufacturer and company standards.
- Ensuring accurate reporting and documentation of all work completed.
- Offering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Representing the business on customer sites, upholding high standards of safety and operational excellence.
- Travelling to client locations across Southampton and the surrounding areas.
What you will need to Apply:The business is seeking a technically competent Compressor Service Engineer with a strong background in compressed air systems. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have proven experience working on compressed air equipment, together with strong fault-finding, maintenance, and repair skills. You will possess excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, and demonstrate high levels of attention to detail alongside strong problem-solving capabilities. The role requires an individual who can work confidently both independently and as part of a team. Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications would be beneficial, and a full UK driving licence is essential.
