NET Recruit are partnering with a successful manufacturing business to search for a Chiller Engineer to cover the Bristol area
Your Role While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to: - Undertaking planned and unplanned maintenance work including fault finding, testing, repairing highlighted faults and preventing future mishaps
- Working on a selection of Air and Water Cooled Chillers
- Ensuring completed PPM tasks are closed or updated on the management system
- Adhering to engineering standards to maximise effectiveness and reliability
- Adhering to quality assurance, health and safety and site procedures at all times
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation and job records for all work undertaken
- Working as part of the call out rota for emergencies
- Working within various building environments related to air conditioning systems
- Sometimes working from platforms, desk surfers, scaffolding, ladders and other high levels
- Maintaining all company issued tools to ensure they are always in a safe and serviceable manner
You MUST Have
Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria: - Possess an engineering qualification/degree
- FGas qualified
- Several years of relevant experience working on repairing and maintaining air and water cooled chillers
- Exposure to and knowledge of VRF systems
- Good electrical knowledge
- Competent in working on a variety of manufacturers, makes and models
- Strong communication skills
- Full UK valid driving license
Your Opportunity Due to sustained success, spanning over a number of years, this business has continued to grow, enabling them to lead the market and build the business up across the globe, meeting the needs of hundreds of customers. This role will sit within the wider engineering team, providing support and technical expertise across multiple sites for PPM and repair work.
For the successful candidate within this role, a starting salary of up to £50,000 will be on offer, depending on prior experience and knowledge, which will accompany a great OTE offering and an additional benefits package include a competitive holiday and pension allowance, internal 'work perks', incentives and much more.
