QA/QC Laboratory Manager, Mining (Central Sulawesi)

Job Title: QA/QC Laboratory Manager
Location: Central Sulawesi
Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage Laboratory staff, including hiring, training and performance evaluations, planning, assigning and directing work.
Oversee daily laboratory operations ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards and assure compliance with Laboratory QA Manual and Safety Manual.
Develop and implement laboratory controls and procedures in line with good laboratory practice and a deep understanding of laboratory practice and procedures.
Review laboratory procedures periodically to improve efficiency and productivity.
Manage laboratory budgets, supply and inventory ensuring availability of all necessary equipment and materials.
Maintains standards and qualifying procedures by verifying test results and audits.
Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to support innovation, compliance and project goals.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the laboratory.
Identify and implement new technologies and feed new technology development into the ANN Laboratories.
Analyze possible reasons for process deviations and for product defects and quality lapses.
Develop KPI's for performance benchmarking purposes.\

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
10+ years of previous instrumentation and calibration experience in a Chemistry, Commercial and/or Mining Assay Laboratory.
5 to 7 years in a management or supervisory role (Required).
Prior experience in Nickel Industry (Required)
Proven leadership and management skills are required to lead a young and enthusiastic team in an energetic manner.
This senior management position in a multinational and multilingual Nickel mining company would benefit a candidate with minimum B2 level English, or better.
