Mechanical Inspector - SV-1 Package

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform inspection and surveillance of mechanical installation activities, including piping and mechanical equipment.
Verify installation, testing, and related construction activities against approved drawings, specifications, and ITP.
Witness required inspections and tests and ensure proper documentation and records.
Review material certificates, inspection records, test reports, and other quality documentation.
Identify and report non-conformities and follow up corrective actions.
Coordinate with Construction, QA/QC, Engineering, and subcontractors to resolve technical and quality issues.
Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports and maintain proper inspection records.
Ensure all activities comply with applicable HSE requirements and safe working practices.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Inspector in oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC, or similar industrial projects.
Strong experience in mechanical installation and inspection, particularly piping and mechanical equipment.
Good knowledge of relevant codes, standards, project specifications, and inspection procedures.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, isometric drawings, datasheets, and specifications.
Experience working on construction/site projects.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Relevant inspection certification is an advantage.
Good command of English.
