As a Paralegal at Swyftx, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Legal team to deliver practical, efficient and commercially focused legal services across the Swyftx Group. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you’ll contribute to legal operations, corporate governance, legal research, contract administration and process improvement initiatives that help support a growing and complex organisation.
Please note that this is a full time, hybrid role, working two days per week from our beautiful Cremorne office.
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include: - Conduct legal research and prepare summaries, reports and briefing materials on a range of legal, regulatory and commercial matters.
- Support the delivery and continuous improvement of Legal Operations, including legal workflows, knowledge management, reporting and process optimisation initiatives.
- Review marketing, promotional and customer-facing materials to support compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with corporate governance and company secretarial activities, including maintaining company registers, statutory records, resolutions and governance documentation across the Swyftx Group.
- Support contract administration, document management and legal matter coordination, working closely with stakeholders across the business to facilitate the efficient progression of legal requests and projects.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation and AI-driven solutions to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and scalability of the Legal function.
To be successful you will have: - Currently undertaking the final years of, or recently completed, a Bachelor of Laws or related qualification.
- Strong legal research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate issues and provide practical recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and communicate clearly with stakeholders across the business.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in legal operations, technology, automation and AI-driven solutions.
- Experience using legal operations tools, workflow management systems or project management platforms such as Jira will be highly regarded.
- A collaborative approach to work, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver practical, solutions-focused outcomes.
