Purpose As a Senior Compliance Analyst within the Compliance Team, you are a key pillar of our regulatory strategy. You are responsible for ensuring Swyftx not only meets but exceeds its global obligations, providing expert oversight to ensure our team members adhere to compliance policies in every corner of the business. You will lead the way in reporting on the effectiveness of our measures, constantly hunting for process improvements and innovative ways to mitigate risk in a fast-paced environment.

Your Core Responsibilities - Strategic Obligations Management: Lead the management of our obligations registers and drive the execution of high-stakes periodic reviews.
- Policy Governance: Develop and maintain sophisticated policies and procedures that reflect the cutting edge of digital asset regulation.
- Regulatory Liaison & Audits: Assist with the planning and execution of regulatory audits and inspections, acting as a reliable point of contact for stakeholders.
- Incident Leadership: Assess complex incidents to determine "reportable situations," providing the expertise needed to navigate communications with the regulator.
- Product & Marketing Oversight: Support product development through the lens of Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO) and ensure marketing remains compliant with RG 234.
- Change & Implementation: Support critical regulatory change projects and lead the rollout of compliance-related initiatives across the wider Swyftx business.
- Advanced Analytics: Translate complex compliance data into clear insights through dashboards and visualizations for key executive stakeholders.
Technical & Behavioral Strengths - Compliance Veteran: 5+ years in a compliance-focused role with a deep understanding of the Australian regulatory landscape.
- Framework Architect: Proven ability to build, implement, and refine compliance frameworks and internal controls.
- Project Leadership: Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Strategic Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a talent for building rapport across diverse departments.
- Integrity-Driven: High standards of personal integrity and a commitment to maintaining the "trusted expert" status within the team.
- Crypto Fluent: An understanding of crypto/digital assets is highly regarded, helping you bridge the gap between DeFi and TradFi.
- Academic Grounding: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Commerce, or a related field.
