We’re excited to grow Brisbane’s finance and tech talent through our internship program, giving students hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. As a Finance Intern at Swyftx, you’ll gain real-world exposure to financial planning and analysis (FP&A), mergers and acquisition (M&A), financial modelling, reconciliation processes and work management. You’ll collaborate with experienced finance professionals, contribute to key projects, and develop skills that will set you up for success in your career.

Some of the key things you'll work on: - Financial Planning & Analysis: Support the FY26 budget process, track progress, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Financial Analysis & Modelling: Assist with M&A analysis, refine financial models, and prepare reports.
- Reconciliation Processes: Coordinate meetings with external contractors and maintain documentation.
- Work Management & Reporting: Build dashboards, track financial KPIs, and support Jira implementation.
Tools you'll gain hands-on experience with: - NetSuite, Jira, Snowflake
Who you are: - You’re currently in your final year of a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, preferably with electives or an interest in computer science, programming, statistics, econometrics or mathematics
- No prior experience required—just a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
- You’re an analytical thinker who enjoys problem-solving and being resourceful
- You have basic coding experience in Python and SQL (or a strong willingness to learn)
- You enjoy working in teams, but you’re also comfortable handling tasks independently when needed.
- You’re able to communicate clearly, both in writing and when speaking.
