A leading financial services client is building a brand new MDM system. It will unify data across multiple asset classes and set the foundation for future AI-driven initiatives.

What you'll do

• Design, build and scale backend services and APIs in Python
• Work alongside dedicated UI developers on React dashboards, maintenance interfaces and visualisation tools
• Model complex ownership hierarchies in graph databases (Neo4j or similar)
• Integrate AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda) and BigQuery on GCP
• Collaborate with local and international teammates in an agile environment

What you'll bring

• Financial services background (must have!), with a solid grasp of capital market terms (equities, derivatives, asset management) and master data concepts
• Strong commercial Python backend experience
• Working knowledge of React for frontend support
• Graph database experience, ideally Neo4j (highly desirable)
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud data warehousing
• Clear communicator who's happy in the office 3 days a week
