  • Flexible roster with 10 days on / 4 days off and on-site, self-contained accommodation
  • Diverse hands-on work across feedlot, mechanical, and infrastructure maintenance
  • Opportunity to join a supportive team in a well-established, locally integrated agricultural business
About the Role

This hands-on position is part of a close-knit, motivated team operating a busy feedlot with a 10,000-head capacity. In addition to backgrounding cattle, the enterprise also grows and mills its own feed locally.

Key responsibilities include:
  • General fencing and gate maintenance
  • MIG and stick welding
  • Maintenance and repair of pipelines, water systems, and cattle troughs
  • Routine feed mill upkeep
  • Basic mechanical servicing of equipment including tractors, mixer wagons, loaders, skid-steers, graders, and motorbikes
  • Development and oversight of a preventative maintenance schedule for all machinery.
While formal mechanical trade qualifications are advantageous, they are not essential. Strong practical experience—especially ‘bush mechanic’ skills—will be highly regarded.
