There is a fantastic chance for full-time, permanent farm hands to begin working on a property just 25 minutes from Goondiwindi. This opportunity is with an industry-leading agricultural company that specialises in growing rotational crops in both irrigated and dryland conditions. Goondiwindi is situated in prime Australian farming territory, providing a vibrant rural community that supports the broader southern agricultural sector.
 
Covering 3,000 hectares of siphon irrigation, this operation skilfully grows cotton and rotational cereals by utilising some of the most advanced agricultural techniques found in Australia. An updated fleet of well-maintained John Deere machinery and implements guarantees optimal efficiency throughout the operation.
 
All Farm Hands will report directly to the Assistant Manager and Manager, providing them with the opportunity to advance their cropping careers while fostering a sense of ownership, strong work ethics, reliability, and a commitment to a sustainable future. The ideal candidates will be proactive self-starters capable of working independently and thriving within a small yet dynamic team. 
 
Key Responsibilities & Duties

• To positively contribute to the overall crop production process.
• Machinery operating for ground preparation, planting, fertilising, spraying, harvesting and picking.
• Irrigation changes.
• Machinery and property maintenance.
• To be mindful and comply with best farm practices in relation to workplace health and safety requirements.

Selection Criteria:

• To have a background in agriculture, ideally within the cropping industry.
• Some prior machinery operating experience.
• A sound mechanical skill set.
• Be fit, healthy and physically capable of carrying out this role.
• Work well within a team of others.
• To hold a current driver’s licence (Provisional or Open).

• Shared accommodation suitable for single males is available. Should applicants live locally and provide their own accommodation, please advise upon interview.
• Wages are negotiable based upon prior experience and will be competitive.
