An opportunity now exists for a Heavy Earthmoving Operator to join our client’s large scale agricultural irrigation operation close to Emerald in Central Queensland. The ideal candidate will assist with the maintenance and development of a bankless irrigation project currently underway and to contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the irrigation property.
 
Selection Criteria:

• Previous experience operating tractors & laser buckets.
• To be a ticketed excavator operator and preferably have experience with Hitachi digger operating.
• To have ideally have experience with GPS technologies, specifically Greenstar and T3RRA software.
• A background in civil and agricultural operations is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A HR truck licence is advantageous but not mandatory & personal transport is essential.
• Ability to work autonomously and perform maintenance tasks.
• A demonstrated ability to work effectively within a highly productive and motivated team.
• Strong communication skills with staff are essential and fluency in English is required.
