An excellent opportunity for a Farm Hand now exists within a permanent, full-time role on a dryland farming property located 45 minutes from Goondiwindi at the small community of Bungunya. Situated within the thriving local border region, this opportunity provides for a growing family to establish themselves within the local community and find longevity within this newfound permanent role.
 
The Role:
 
Reporting to the company’s management team, the position of Farm Hand will involve machinery operating, mechanical repairs, property maintenance other general farm production duties will be required within the end-to-end operation. Machinery is a modern, mixed fleet including tractors, headers, a camera sprayer and all associated implements. Approximately 300 cows + progeny are grazed on the property and at times, cattle work will be required.
 
Favourable Attributes:

• To have some prior cropping experience within a dryland farming environment and to have machinery operating experience – specifically modern farming machinery & implements with GPS technology including tractors and spray rigs.
• To be capable of working as a team with other employees.
• To offer a reasonable mechanical skill set.
