They work across a diverse multi-sector portfolio with a consistent pipeline of repeat-client projects, including notable work in the education and community sectors.
The role
This is a newly created role and a strategic hire due to continued success and tender pipeline.
Based in the Crows Nest office, you'll be engaged across the full project lifecycle — contributing to tender-stage programming and methodology before transitioning into full end-to-end project delivery. You'll report directly to the General Manager and carry responsibility for projects in the $10M-$30M range across education and aged care. Day-to-day, this will include:
- Managing project delivery from tender award through to practical completion and defects
- Leading and coordinating project teams including site management, CAs and subcontractors
- Developing and maintaining project programmes, monitoring progress against milestones
- Chairing progress meetings and managing client relationships throughout construction
- Overseeing subcontractor procurement, progress claims, variations and EOTs
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and contractual obligations across all phases
About you - Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience as a Project Manager with a head contractor in Sydney
- Proven track record delivering new build projects in the $10M-$30M range
- Sector experience in education, aged care, health or community construction is highly desirable but not essential.
- Background from a Tier 2 or Tier 3 builder — you understand how to run effective project teams,
- Confident in managing client relationships and presenting to stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient with industry-standard project management and reporting tools
