Submissions Coordinator /Manager - Tier One Remedial Builder.
About the company Our client is a third-generation, family-owned remedial construction business with a 65+ year track record across NSW. They specialise in technically complex work on live, occupied buildings — facade upgrades, structural remediation, cladding rectification, heritage restoration and compliance upgrades — across the residential, commercial, industrial and institutional sectors.
The team has built long-term partnerships with major property owners, strata corporations and government, and the tenders they submit genuinely rival the calibre of any Tier 2 head contractor. Hands-on directors, a strong technical pipeline, and an Annandale head office.
The role Reporting into the bid and estimating Manager, you'll own the submissions process end-to-end — pulling together commercially sharp, technically credible tender responses that clearly demonstrate the business's capability to deliver high-risk works in live environments. Day-to-day, you'll:
- Coordinate and produce tender submissions, EOIs, prequalifications and capability statements
- Interpret client requirements and tailor responses — no copy-paste tenders
- Maintain and continuously improve the submissions library (case studies, CVs, methodologies, safety and quality content)
- Liaise with estimators, project managers, site teams and directors to draw out the technical detail that wins the job
- Manage submission programmes, deadlines and document control across multiple concurrent bids
- Format, proofread and quality-check every submission before it goes out the door
About you - Demonstrated experience coordinating tender submissions in construction, remedial, engineering or a related technical field
- Forensic attention to detail — formatting, grammar, consistency, compliance with RFT requirements
- Strong writing skills with the ability to translate technical input into clear, persuasive content
- Confident in Adobe InDesign (or similar) and the Microsoft Office suite
- Highly organised — comfortable juggling multiple deadlines without becoming flustered.
- Background in remedial, facade, or head contractor environments is highly regarded; however, it is not essential.
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, construction or a related field are welcomed but not essential
What's on offer - Market-rate salary package — negotiable based on experience- Circa $140k + Super.
- A submissions function that's genuinely valued — your work directly influences win rates on high-value, technically complex bids
- Stable, privately owned business with 65+ years of trading history and a strong forward pipeline
- Inner-west Sydney office, fully office-based, easy commute and on-site parking considerations
- Direct exposure to directors, estimators and senior project teams — your voice is heard
