Site Manager – Commercial Construction

An established and well-regarded commercial builder is seeking an experienced
Site Manager to lead the delivery of upcoming projects across Sydney—projects ranging from $2m to $20m across the Workplace, Hospitality, Aviation and Education.
This is a key site-based leadership role, suited to a proven operator who enjoys ownership of programme, quality, safety and subcontractor performance, and who takes pride in delivering well-run sites.
The Opportunity You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, coordinating subcontractors and consultants, driving programme outcomes, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
Projects are predominantly
commercial builds, with a strong emphasis on quality finishes, stakeholder management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Full site management from early works through to completion
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
- Programme management and short-term planning
- Ensuring WHS, quality and environmental compliance
- Coordination with Project Managers and CA teams
- Client and consultant liaison on site
- Driving productivity, buildability and problem-solving on site
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects (circa $2 to $5m)
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and finishes
- Confident leading subcontractors and site teams
- Solid knowledge of WHS requirements and site compliance
- Clear communicator with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Comfortable working with systems and reporting requirements
