Project Manager - Mid-Tier Commercial Fit-out & Refurbishment Location: Sydney, NSW
Are you a dynamic Senior Project Manager looking to join an established, quality-focused commercial builder known for exceptional project delivery? We are seeking an experienced PM ready to step up or an accomplished SPM to manage diverse, high-value projects within the Sydney market.
About the Role: As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex fit-out and refurbishment projects. Typical project sizes range from
$2M to $5M (multiple concurrent projects) or a
single larger project up to $15M. You will be the central point of contact, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality across our key sectors:
Workplace, Education, Aviation, and Hospitality.

Core Responsibilities - Be the difference in why clients assign work. Lead, mentor, and motivate your team.
- Full project lifecycle management from handover through to defects liability period.
- Developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules and budgets.
- Managing client relationships, ensuring clear communication and exceeding expectations.
- Leading and mentoring the site and office teams (including Site Managers and leading hands).
- High-level oversight of procurement, head contracts, and subcontractor performance.
- Ensuring strict adherence to WHS and quality management systems.
What You Will Bring - Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the Australian commercial building sector.
- Proven track record managing projects from $2 to $15m. (will consider $2m to $5m)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Deep understanding of construction methodologies, WHS standards, and quality assurance.
