Position Summary:
Currently seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Administrator to join a successful team in the Sydney office. (office or project-based, depending on the size of the project) As a Contract Administrator, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our projects. You will manage all contractual aspects, ensure compliance, and support the project team in achieving project goals and objectives.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage contracts for construction and fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
  • Review, negotiate, and finalise contracts, ensuring they align with project requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of contract-related issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to contracts, change orders, and variations.
  • Monitor project budgets and costs, providing regular updates and reporting on contract status.
  • Conduct thorough contract reviews, identifying risks and opportunities, and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the project team in resolving disputes, claims, and other contractual matters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of progress claims, variations, and extension of time claims.
 Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on commercial and fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Solid organisational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. A team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
