Senior Project Manager to take ownership of diverse and exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities - Project Leadership & Delivery - Take full ownership of project delivery from tender handover to practical completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Lead project teams, including site managers, contract administrators, subcontractors, and consultants, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Drive project schedules, maintaining a strong focus on efficiency, milestones, and client expectations.
Financial & Contractual Management - Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls, ensuring profitability and financial accountability.
- Manage contracts and commercial risks, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations under head contracts and subcontracts.
- Use Procore as the primary cost management tool to track financials, variations, and reporting.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring contractual compliance and cost efficiency.
Design & Stakeholder Coordination - Work closely with clients, architects, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure design intent and project objectives align.
- Lead value engineering initiatives and proactively identify cost-saving solutions without compromising quality.
- Ensure early identification and resolution of design challenges, working collaboratively to mitigate potential issues.
Quality Assurance & Compliance - Oversee project quality, ensuring construction aligns with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular site visits, audits, and quality checks to uphold high construction standards.
- Ensure effective implementation of integrated management systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Safety & Risk Management - Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring all team members and subcontractors adhere to strict WHS guidelines.
- Implement and monitor site-specific safety plans, toolbox talks, and incident reporting in line with company and legislative requirements.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring contingency planning is in place.
Candidate Profile - Experience & Background - Minimum 8-10 years of Project Management experience in the commercial fit-out & refurbishment space, managing projects up to $10M.
- Proven experience delivering Hard Dollar & D&C projects in a controlled, professional, and process-driven environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- High level of experience in contract management, cost reporting, project controls, and risk mitigation.

- Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to foresee challenges, and provide proactive solutions.
- Project Reporting: Proficiency in high-level project status reporting, contract administration, and financial oversight.
- Safety-Focused: Demonstrated ability to drive safety-first initiatives and uphold WHS compliance.
- Technology: Strong proficiency in Procore and other construction management tools.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
