Graduate Enrolled Nurse

West Wimmera Health Service is seeking Graduate Enrolled Nurses to join our clinical team in a full time or part time capacity!

  • Positions are available to work at a variety of our acute and aged care facilities including; Iona Digby Harris Nursing Home, Jeparit, Kaniva, Natimuk, Nhill, Rainbow and Rupanyup.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • The Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program aims to facilitate the transition from student to Enrolled Nurse, providing the opportunity to enhance your nursing career, consolidate your nursing skills and provide an opportunity to experience different clinical areas.
  • WWHS offers opportunities to apply for our Bursary Program, where contributions of up to 50% of a successful applications HECS/HELP debt are negotiable as part of the package.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA


Essential:
  • Effective communication and organisational skills
  • Enrolled Nurse with a current AHPRA registration.
  • Have an understanding of EQuIP criteria (acute and community care facilities).
  • Have an understanding of iCare, ACFI and Aged Care Standards (aged care facilities).
Desirable:
  • Effective communication and organisational skills
  • Enrolled Nurse with a current AHPRA registration.
  • Have an understanding of EQuIP criteria (acute and community care facilities).
  • Have an understanding of iCare, ACFI and Aged Care Standards (aged care facilities).
Prerequisities:
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Working with Children Check
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19.
  • Influenza Vaccination.
  • Australian Driver’s License.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To participate in providing a high standard of clinical care to the patients/residents of West Wimmera Health Service.
  • To adhere to the policies and protocols of West Wimmera Health Service.
  • To strengthen relationships with customers to enhance the image of the Service.
