Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Health Care Workers

IMPORTANT - International Applicants

In accordance with the Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement, WWHS cannot accept international Health Care Worker applications.

ABOUT THE ROLE/S:

Registered Nurse 
and Enrolled Nurse:

  • To provide appropriate care to the patients and residents at all times and to achieve the standard of clinical care required by AHPRA regulations, and comply with the West Wimmera Health Service policies and procedures of the clinical unit.
Health Care Worker
  • To provide appropriate care to the aged care residents at all times and comply by the West Wimmera Health Service policies and procedures of the unit.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

Registered Nurse:
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • Excellent understanding of EQuIP criteria (acute and community care facilities).
  • Excellent understanding of iCare, ACFI and Aged Care Standards (aged care facilities)
  • Victorian Driver’s Licence.
Enrolled Nurse:
  • Medication Endorsed qualification in Enrolled Nursing.
  • Enrolled Nurse Qualification with a current APHRA registration.
  • Excellent understanding of EQuIP criteria (acute and community care facilities)
  • Excellent understanding of iCare, ACFI and Aged Care Standards (aged care facilities)
Health Care Worker:
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the residents, families, carers and the community.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care.
  • Previous experience working in an Aged Care Residential Facility.
  • Understanding of iCare, ACFI and Aged Care Quality Standards (aged care facilities).
