Livestock Compliance & Operations Coordinator

The Company

Our client, a well-established Western Australian agribusiness with a diversified livestock portfolio, is seeking an experienced Livestock Compliance & Operations Coordinator to support and strengthen its export and domestic sheep programs. This is a key time for the business and the industry, to ensure regulatory compliance, operational coordination and continuous improvement across livestock supply chains.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Livestock Compliance and Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in safeguarding compliance outcomes while supporting efficient, well-run livestock operations. As part of the live export responsibilities, they will ensure export compliance while maintaining audit-ready records and core documentation. While assisting the domestic program, they will ensure compliance with applicable biosecurity and traceability, compliance and welfare standards.
Working with the Commercial Manager, the Livestock Compliance and Operations Coordinator will assist with planned consignments while overseeing wharf operations/documentation. They will also drive key industry relationships to help manage a portfolio of key grant applications and compliance and technology-related projects. There are some travel requirements in this role.

About You

To be successful in this position, we are ideally seeking the following:
  • Experience in livestock compliance, supply chain operations or export-focused agribusiness
  • Working knowledge of live export and/or domestic livestock regulatory frameworks
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex documentation and compliance systems
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with regulators and stakeholders
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to work across both office and operational environments
  • Experience in live export compliance and sheep operations will be highly regarded, but strong transferable compliance and operational skills are considered mandatory
