The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager - Insights and Engagement, this is a significant opportunity contribute to the Australian grains sector by investigating the use, quality requirements, trends and competitor activity in key coarse grains export and domestic markets. As part of this, the Markets Manager, Coarse Grains will drive internal and external relationships with local and international key stakeholders and industry participants. As a key member of the Insights and Engagement team, the Markets Manager, Coarse Grains will drive key project outcomes, deliver timely presentations/commentary, and participate in international and domestic travel, while keeping abreast of global commodity market movements.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates will ideally possess the following:
- An industry-good and team-player orientation
- A strong interest in global agribusiness commodity markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong financial literacy including data analysis, trend identification and root cause
- In-person and online presentation delivery skills
- Tertiary qualifications in agribusiness, relevant science field, commerce or economics
