Custom Selection Specialist

A Custom Selection Specialist, with us, involves:
  • Delivering a specialised red carpet product selection experience through a VIP/Concierge style appointment booking program for selected high profile customers including designers, developers, builders and their end customers.
  • Managing an appointment booking calendar and ensuring customers are contacted within 24 hours of their Customer Booking Request.
  • Understanding the commercial client’s business expectations and requirements and then selecting brands or products that help them to achieve their desired outcome.
  • Developing strong relationships with the relevant Interior Design Teams who are referring their customers to us.
  • Working closely with Showroom Consultants to assign any overflow appointments to the relevant showroom.
  • Being predominantly based out of the future E&S Commercial showroom at Chadstone, you will travel to meet clients at other showrooms when required from time to time. Work related travel will be compensated through mileage claims.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
  • Consultative sales experience from a retail environment where listening to the customer and crafting solutions that meet their needs are part of your day-to-day.
  • Category knowledge in Kitchen Appliances and Sanitaryware would be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of the building process and the Victorian building industry would also be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated relationship-building prowess.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • A team player.
