About The Role: 
As our Legal Executive, you will be responsible for remote legal support to clients or law firms by assisting with legal research, document preparation, contract drafting, compliance checks, and case management. They play a crucial role in ensuring legal processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant laws. This role requires strong legal knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. 
   
Your Main Assignment Responsibilities Will Include: 
  • Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, case law, regulations, and legal precedents to support ongoing cases or client inquiries. 
  • Document Drafting & Review: Draft, review, and edit legal documents, including contracts, agreements, pleadings, and memoranda. Ensure all documents are clear, concise, and legally sound. 
  • Compliance Checks: Review and verify that legal documents and business processes adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. 
  • Contract Management: Assist with the preparation, review, and management of contracts and agreements, ensuring they meet legal and organizational standards. 
  • Case Management: Maintain and update case files, track deadlines, and monitor the progress of ongoing legal matters. Ensure that legal documents and evidence are organized and easily accessible. 
  • Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, provide case updates, and address client inquiries. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. 
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to legal teams, including scheduling appointments, organizing legal correspondence, and maintaining accurate records. 
  • Compliance Assistance: Assist clients or firms in understanding and implementing compliance programs or risk management procedures. 
  • Report Generation: Prepare legal reports and summaries to assist legal teams in case evaluation or decision-making. 
  • Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts, government agencies, or other entities as required by law, ensuring all filings meet deadlines and procedural requirements. 
  • Virtual Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, or clients via virtual meetings, emails, or collaboration tools to support legal projects. 
Qualifications: 
  • Strong and proven experience in a legal assistant, paralegal or legal executive role in law firm or similar/relevant industry 
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, document preparation, and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with various areas of law (e.g., corporate, civil, family law) is beneficial. 
  • Proficiency with legal research tools, case management software, and document management systems. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional legal documents and interact with clients effectively. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, must be proactive, disciplined, can handle confidentiality, and tech savvy 
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing legal documents and conducting research.
