About The Role: 
As our Banking/Mortgage Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the mortgage brokerage or banking team by assisting with the processing of loan mortgage applications, managing client communications. This role involves coordinating with clients, loan officers, underwriters, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of mortgage applications, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. 
  
Your Main Assignment Responsibilities Will Include: 
  • Assist clients with the mortgage application process by answering questions, gathering necessary documentation, and providing updates on the status of their loan applications. 
  • Prepare and submit mortgage applications, ensuring all required documentation (income, credit reports, appraisals) is complete and accurate. 
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients, brokers, and lenders, ensuring clear communication throughout the loan process. 
  • Review and organize mortgage documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Prepare and send loan disclosures and other required forms to clients. 
  • Work with underwriters, appraisers, and other third parties to facilitate the timely processing of loan approvals. 
  • Ensure all mortgage transactions comply with relevant regulations and industry standards 
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding them through the mortgage process. 
Qualifications: 
  • Proven experience in banking, loan, mortgages, or customer service is preferred. 
  • Understanding mortgage products, loan programs, and the loan origination process. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial products in a simple, clear manner. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in paperwork and compliance. 
  • Proficiency with any mortgage or banking software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office. 
  • Strong client service skills with the ability to build rapport and provide a positive client experience.
