(NZ/VA) Appointment Setter/Cold Caller

About The Role: 
As an Appointment Setter, you will be responsible for outbound calls to potential clients or leads to schedule appointments for the sales team. This role involves making cold calls, engaging prospects in meaningful conversations, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings with decision-makers. The primary goal is to make a robust appointment and convert into sales opportunities for the overall growth of the business. 
  
Your Main Assignment Responsibilities Will Include: 
  • Conduct cold calls to generate leads and schedule appointments for the sales team. 
  • Make manual call and/or auto dial using auto dialer depending on the client’s preference. 
  • Qualifying leads by gathering information about their needs, interests, and budget. 
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company’s products or services. 
  • Overcome objections and handle rejection professionally to keep the conversation moving forward. 
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and appointments in the CRM system. 
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly call and appointment-setting targets. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and follow-up on scheduled appointments. 
  • Continuously improve cold calling techniques and learn about industry trends to enhance outreach effectiveness. 
 Qualifications:  
  • Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting preferably in a sales environment 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Resilient, performer, goal-oriented, and able to handle rejection positively. 
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and establish trust over the phone. 
  • Organized and detail-oriented with experience using CRM software. 
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating leads and setting appointments. 
  • Energetic and persistent with a strong desire to succeed.
