Financial Investment Analyst

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Investment Analyst to support a family office and investment team. This role involves building financial models, conducting underwriting analysis, and preparing professional investor presentations. The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills in finance with the ability to communicate insights effectively to key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance advanced financial models for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, scenario, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Conduct underwriting and due diligence activities, including risk assessments, data validation, and review of applicant financials.
  • Analyze historical financial data, industry benchmarks, and market trends; summarize findings for investment strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial models and underwriting assumptions align with business and strategic goals.
  • Create and refine investor presentations, pitch decks, and financial reports for fundraising, project review, and ongoing reporting.
  • Ensure logical flow, accuracy, and strong visual impact of investor materials.
  • Support investor relations through periodic reporting, documentation, and communication.
  • Monitor and research industry developments to identify trends, risks, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, investment analysis, underwriting, and investor presentations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial analysis tools and collaboration platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities (written and verbal) with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
  • High ethical standards and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in family offices, private equity, investment banking, or real estate.
  • Advanced certifications such as CFA, CPA, or MBA.
  • Strong presentation design skills with tools like Canva or Adobe.
