The Opportunity: At Revo Fitness, we continue to grow and expand our footprint, bringing simple, affordable fitness to more communities. We are seeking an experienced Senior Area Manager to lead a portfolio of clubs, empowering Club Managers and their teams to deliver outstanding member experiences.
Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you will play a critical leadership role across people, operations, and facilities. This is a hands-on, agile position where your ability to lead, influence, and optimise performance across multiple sites will directly impact our success.
You’ll work collaboratively with national peers, support operational consistency, and step in to provide leadership coverage when required. This position will be based out of our Glenelg site location, with regular travel between sites required.
Key Responsibilities: - People Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Club Managers, ensuring strong engagement, performance, and career development. Oversee the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning, while ensuring effective and compliant rostering practices.
- Member Experience: Drive a consistent, high-quality member experience across all clubs by empowering teams to deliver service aligned with Revo’s values. Ensure brand consistency, seamless member journeys, and strong engagement with personal trainers and in-club teams.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the presentation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of club facilities and equipment. Ensure preventative maintenance programs are in place and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high standards.
- Health and Safety: Provide leadership and oversight of WHS compliance across all sites. Ensure audits, reporting, incident management, and risk mitigation processes are effectively implemented, maintaining a safe environment for both team members and members.
- Reporting, Training & Operations: Monitor and analyse operational performance through key reporting metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. Support training initiatives, contribute to operational projects, and ensure systems and processes are executed to a high standard.
Essential Criteria - 5+ years’ experience in a multi-site leadership role (Operations/Area/Regional Manager roles)
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong experience in facilities management and workplace health and safety
- Highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills
- Operationally focused with strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer experience driven with a continuous improvement mindset
- Current Driver’s Licence
