As our Events & Activations Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our brand in the community. From gym floor buzz to outdoor events, you’ll be the one making it all happen. Working closely with the Communication and Content teams, you will execute our national activation calendar, oversee the delivery of key events and campaigns and ensure every touchpoint reflects Revo’s brand. You will be a creative thinker, an efficient project manager and a passionate brand ambassador who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environments.
Key Responsibilities Events & Activation Management - Deliver creative, high-impact initiatives to engage gym members and local communities, both in-gym and externally.
- Lead the planning and delivery of community-focused events, including charity initiatives such as Ocean Heroes 24-hour swim and others.
- Collaborate with the social media team to ensure all activations are documented with high-quality content that aligns with campaign briefs.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of partnership events, including sports collaborations and branded experiences.
- Manage all event logistics, including bump-in and bump-out processes, ensuring seamless delivery and adherence to brand standards.
- Monitor event performance through engagement metrics and feedback, providing regular reports and insights to inform future planning.
- Ensure all events are delivered on time, within budget, and meet strategic objectives.
Logistics & Staffing - Manage the design, procurement, storage, and maintenance of activation kits and branded materials (e.g. flags, marquees, signage).
- Oversee a fleet of branded activation vehicles, ensuring they are roadworthy, compliant, and regularly serviced.
- Lead and support a small team of event staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Recruit, roster, and manage a pool of casual activation staff, including contract Baristas, ensuring availability and quality service delivery.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in event management or brand activation roles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a talent for building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for delivering engaging community experiences and enhancing brand presence.
- Skilled in delivering high-impact events and activations from concept to completion.
- Experienced in sourcing and managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and optimising event budgets.
- Proficient in developing and executing event promotion across digital and physical channels.
- Meticulous in planning and execution, ensuring seamless delivery and brand consistency.
