Member Support Assistant - WA

The Opportunity
 
As a Member Support Assistant, you will support our national member service efforts by handling member calls and email, member enquiries, and assisting with social media community management. You’ll be integral in ensuring optimal response times and seamless communication between clubs, members, and the Marketing team. 
 
This is a full-time position, on-site based at either our Claremont, WA HQ working Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm. 

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Club Operations Support: Assist with member enquires and service processes, including answering inbound and making outbound calls and emails.  
  • Email Ticket Management: Distribute and resolve member enquiry email tickets as necessary, ensuring timely and effective responses. 
  • General Administration: Provide operational support and coordinating club marketing materials. 
  • Social media and Member Support: Respond to social media chats, reviews, and ratings, and assist with updating support articles on the website. 
  • Meta Business Suite Administration: Audit negative comments, maintain accurate records for competitions and memberships, and escalate social media issues as needed. 
  • Collaborative Support: Work with Club Operations to ensure all member communications are efficiently handled. 
 
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Graduate or in final year of Marketing degree or similar
  • Experience in a contact centre or member service function is desirable. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with members effectively. 
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and promptly. 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to the collective success of the department.
