Senior Service Technician - SA

The Opportunity:

Revo Fitness is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Service Technician to support the functionality and safety of our gym equipment and vending machines across our network. You’ll be the go-to person for complex repairs, installations, and technical guidance, while also supporting the Warehouse & Service Manager in coordinating service schedules and collaborating with contractors. This is a dynamic role that offers a strong mix of hands-on work, problem-solving, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gym Equipment Installation and Servicing: Deliver, install, and relocate equipment including new builds, upgrades, and refurbishments across clubs. Ensure all installations are carried out safely, on time, and to a high standard.
  • Preventative Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular servicing of gym equipment, vending machines, and related systems to reduce downtime and ensure longevity of assets.
  • Troubleshooting and Fault Resolution: Diagnose and repair equipment faults efficiently, minimising disruption to the member experience.
  • Schedule Coordination and Communication: Work closely with the Warehouse & Service Manager to schedule visits, manage priorities, and provide regular updates on work orders and task completion.
  • Staff Training and Technical Support: Mentor and train other technicians and club staff on safe equipment use and minor maintenance, building capability and confidence across the team.
  • Warehouse Operations: Support warehouse duties including stocktaking, cleaning, and dispatch using warehouse tools and equipment (e.g. electric pallet jack).
  • Facility Support: Assist with minor facility maintenance tasks and uphold the cleanliness and organisation of club storerooms and warehouse spaces.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Valid Australian C-Class driver’s licence.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a service technician, ideally within the fitness or health industry.
  • Proven ability in equipment fault finding and repair.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently across multiple sites.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Willingness to undertake a Traffic Infringement Check and complete a pre-employment medical assessment to ensure safe job performance.
